It is 7 pm across here in the UK and we feel blessed, lucky and downright excited. For the second time in weeks we’ve got a UFC card starting right about now, no caffeine fix needed, no calling work to say you can’t make it out of exhaustion, nope, it’s in our favour this time round and it feels JUST right.
Who’s fighting? Well, there are many fights across the globe, in the UK we’ve got MatchRoom Boxing, and in the US of A, we have Fury/Wilder III, a fight that will determine a lot for the heavyweight boxing world, but our focus is on the great happenings at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. We have Straw-weight title contenders about to go head to head in a clash that, as you read above, gets them TO that title, now it’s with Thug Rose, but here are two threats coming to chase that target that Namajuna’s never seems to shake off (perks of Champ Life).
The contenders we speak of are #6 Marina Rodriguez and #4 MacKenzie Dern, two of the biggest threats we’ve seen so far in the pursuit of UFC straw-weight gold.
